Table decor filled with memories

Dear Chic & Antique family, it's been a while since my last blog post. I hope you don't mind and that you've been doing well. I will really try to write more blog posts. Today I felt creative and made this table decor so I want to share it with you.

I've chosen a table cover and table cloth in a red wine colour that I got on sale in Switzerland, which seemed like a good base for silverware that I bought at that same time.

On the table, you can see some things that I received from people who are very dear to me, which, for me, makes this table decor even more special.

A few years ago my friend's mother from Sweden gave me this beautiful teapot which also came with a lovely little milk pot and a sugar bowl. And when all that is combined, it creates a very nice effect and goes well with the rest of the decor elements.

I was really happy when I ran into a crystal candleholder that I bought fifteen years ago and I haven't used it for a long time. It's for a single candle and very simple, yet elegant. It seemed like the best solution for a table for two. Here is also my favourite white soup bowl that I received from my dear mother.

Elegant champagne glasses with silver stands were a present from my sister, and from my other sister I received white porcelain napkin rings. White gold-lined plates I bought at "Zara Home". They are very elegant and basic, and they go very nicely with almost anything.

The crystal vase was a gift from my son Andrej who bought it a while ago in Slovenia - in a town known for its crystal goods.

Nothing would be as beautiful as it is if my husband didn't get me these lovely roses, which was also one of the motivators for creating this table decor ;)

I really enjoyed the decorating process and the finished result is these photos.

I'm sending a big hug to all of you, and especially to my beloved female followers (happy national women's day!). I hope you'll spend the day the way you like it the most.

Concerning my plans, tomorrow I'll be travelling to Switzerland for a visit to my best friend. I'm sure some new details for decoration will catch my eye ;)
